5900 Double Hung
The 5900 Double Hung is a full frame window used in new construction, remodels, or replacements that require new sills and jambs. - Beige vinyl tracks
- Decorative leaded glass or wood grids
Vinyl Tracks
Although vinyl tracks are not part of a traditional window, they provide the best seal you can get on a window that slides. They allow for tilt-in cleaning, touch-up painting, and easy maintenance of your new windows. With no wood to wood contact, you never have to worry about your windows being stuck shut. They come in white or beige. These light colors reduce warping and brittleness due to sun exposure.

Latches & Lifts
Latches hold a double hung shut. Lifts are the handles used to open a double hung. Both latch and lift are solid brass and come in three colors. Small double hungs require one of each while larger doublehungs may require two.

Sticking Details
Sticking is the detail in the wood that surounds the glass in a window. It helps direct moisture away from the glass while providing a decorative appearance. Below are our standard patterns. Notice that two patterns allow for true divided lites (TDL) and one of our patterns allows simulated divided lites (SDL). Ask about advantages of each for your individual situation.

Thermal lead
Our thermal leading is custom made to order. The drawing below shows a piece of insulated glass cut in half. The lead is applied to both sides of one of the panes of glass so it can be seen from both sides. We leave the lead off of the other side of the glass to allow for a low-e coating for maximum energy efficiency.
