CHERRY CREEK INSTALLATION

The final fit and function of a new window depends upon experience and attention to detail during installation.  Older homes can be difficult to install windows into.  More often than not, openings become out of square as the home settles over time.  Our installers deal with these types of homes every day and know how to make your windows look sharp and operate smoothly regardless of the age of your home.  Our installers are employed by Cherry Creek and are licensed and bonded.

In the event your order includes installation by Cherry Creek Windows & Doors, you'll need to schedule an installation date after your millwork is delivered, finish painted, and cured.  Installations are scheduled through your sales representative.  Plan your installation around a typical backlog of 2-3 weeks. You will be notified in advance if your install must be rescheduled. You may cancel your assigned installation date up to 24 hours prior to your scheduled install. The price of installation includes removal of unwanted glass, sash, and install related trash. Due to the complexity of retro-fitting, trimming of product may occur and touch up painting may be required by customer. This should be completed immediately to remain under Cherry Creek warranty. A touch up primer coat can be applied by Cherry Creek at time of install for an additional $65.00 per hour/per man. "Double Hung Sash Kit" installations utilize your existing interior window stops.  If you wish "new" interior stops to be installed, you must request new stops prior to the installation date - additional labor and materials charges will apply.

HOME OWNER / CONTRACTOR INSTALLATIONS

If you prefer to do your own installation, or use a contractor separate from Cherry Creek, we will provide you with some basic instructions on how to install your windows.  Keep in mind that if Cherry Creek does not install we are not responsible and will not take final measurements for your new windows.
